We have several computers for public use; please sign in at the front desk first . A laptop is also available but may not be taken off premises.
The computers provide access to:
- Popular web browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox)
- Microsoft Office 10 Suite (which includes Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Outlook, Publisher, Access, InfoPath, and SharePoint)
- The library’s catalog, digital resources, and databases
We offer free wireless internet access upstairs in the library and downstairs in the community room. Charging stations are available.
At the Krayon Kiosk in the children’s room (made possible by a generous grant from the Mountain Lakes Educational Foundation), there are 3 iPads preloaded with an assortment of educational games. The iPads do not have Internet access.
Printing, copying, and faxing
The library has several black-and-white printers, including a wireless printer. The first five printouts are free. Additional pages are $.10 each.
A black-and-white photocopier and fax machine are also available for public use. Copies are $.15 per page; faxes are $3.00 (out of state) and $2.00 (in state or toll-free numbers) for the first page, plus $1.00 for each additional page. You may also scan documents to a flash drive using the photocopier.
Tutors may use the library for private tutoring, as long as they make prior arrangements with the staff. Tutoring fees are $5 per student per session.
